Handball in the Faroe Islands between VB Vágur and VÍF Vestmanna

Photo taken on February 19, 2012 Faroese handball. A match between two of the womens team in the best division, which is called Sunset Kappingin or Sunsetdeildin. VB is short for Vágs Bóltfelag (Vágur Ball Club), it used to be a football club also, but now the football club is called FC Suðuroy. VB players are in red/blue shirts. The women in yellow/blue are from Vestmanna, their club is called VÍF, which is short for Vestmanna Ítróttarfelag (Vestmanna Sports Club). VB won this match 23-17 and is now number two in the competition together with Stjørnan from Klaksvík. Neistin from Tórshavn is number one with 24 points, VB and Stjørnan have 17 points each. Two of the best teams, that is the two teams with most points will play the final in march or april. Photo Location
